I have been waiting four years for The Polyphonic Spree to tour again.

Fleetwood Mac’s “Tusk” and The Microphones “Mt. Eerie” are keeping us company on our drive home tonight

This reminds me of the first time I saw Radiohead play on SNL ten years ago, or when I had the opportunity to see the Polyphonic Spree live, or the first time I heard a Sigur Ros song; all leaving me feeling totally energized and inspired. It’s a rare thing in my life anymore that I hear a song or see a band play and it makes me feel like anything is possible, within or without of the confines of music.

There are so many things right with this performance, it’s silly to list them all.

This is probably my new favorite band. Hopefully have some protein and nutrient rich updates here soon. Excited to see everyone out on the road in 2012. Isn’t there supposed to be a new X-Files movie?

Happy Birthday, Julee Cruise ›

Here’s a couple songs I recorded a few nights ago, for one of my favorites on her birthday.

Enjoy!

Happy official start of the Christmas season everyone. Allow me to start this year off right with a gift from the most wonderful people of Audiotree, this is a wonderfully recorded and edited video of our entire session. Much love to them. Happy holidays.

Wow, cant believe how appropriate this feels for winter coming upon us. Wish Kate Bush songs were as ubiquitous as Lady Gaga songs. Actually if Kate Bush just replaced Gaga as the biggest female artist in the world that would make me happy.
